Continuous motion

well, the day after Pi Day it was pancakes all around to start off the day on our first full wiley day, a day that we thought was going to be a 'rainout' as far as any outside activities were concerned (based on weather forecasts).  But while Pop and Silas went to see Frozen, Cora and I were able to get a good walk in the neighborhood in the beautiful sunshine!

She started out stylin'
a pretty cool 'vibe'........
but ended up deciding SHE wanted
to push and give 'monkey' a ride.....
Well, Pop and Silas enjoyed the movie and by the time they'd returned the rain had begun and we're so thankful, we need it so!  And what better rainy day activity could we plunge into, two days before St. Paddy's Day, than green rice krispie treats.....I had two very willing accomplices!

Silas and I went to the library and
found three  Mo Willems'  videos along the lines
of Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, his current
favorite book to read.  He and Pop enjoyed those while......
Cora and I made a pile of acorns in front of the
window in an attempt to attract one of the squirrels who call our front yard 'home'.  She sat there, hopefully enthralled and so patient, for the longest time.......maybe tomorrow!

After dinner, and while Cora and I were doing bath and bedtime routine, Pop and Silas worked on a variety of very strategically designed and crafted paper airplanes and there was a regular aeronautical show going on when I came downstairs.  Silas is especially proud of one  he calls The Glider and is able to really make it perform.

We're all gonna sleep well tonight!
